Christopher Lamal
Christopher Lamal is a
seasoned corporate and business attorney with more than 20
years experience. He serves as general corporate counsel to
a variety of U.S. and foreign businesses, advising them on
matters such as business formation and
financing, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, licensing
and distribution arrangements, executive employment and
compensation agreements and merger and acquisitions
Mr. Lamal is a former partner in the New York office of the
multinational law firm Salans, and before that was a partner
in Thelen Reid Raysman & Steiner and Sutherland.
Mr. Lamal received his law degree from New York University
School of Law in 1981. He is also a graduate of Sarah
Lawrence College (B.A.) and of Yale University (M.A.). He is
a member of the board of trustees of Sarah Lawrence College,
where he chairs the board’s audit committee, is a former
member of the board of directors of Lawyers Alliance for New
York and has served as a director or officer of several
companies and not-for-profit organizations. He is admitted
to the New York bar.
